STORY: In 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' the newfound team's adventures continue as they fight their way to unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" presumably proved unable, and certainly doesn't, recover the sweet and particular unreasonableness of the first, however the new release from Marvel Studios and Disney has its prizes. Still, the cosmic system isn't sufficiently huge to contain the winding plot, which sends the legend, Chris Pratt's Peter Quill, on a mission to find his character. (Half human, Peter likes to call himself Star-Lord.) That's the corporate analytics at work—transforming a happy blockhead into a searcher of profound truths, and, all the while, making him an onlooker to a significant part of the activity.
